Drum Roll...
Finally, after weeks of having our blog post-less we have finally started! I guess it has taken me so long because I didn't know where to begin, but after a beautiful hike yesterday, the timing just feels right. Living in Utah, there are so many places to explore. We live only minutes from a beautiful canyon, so yesterday we packed a lunch and headed up to Silver Lake. It would've helped to have had a 4x4, but never underestimate the Focus! We drove 3 miles on a very bumpy cliff-side to Silver Lake Flat where the trail head started, then from there we hiked for a about 2 hours until we were at the Lake, which to our amazement still had snow patches near by. We ate lunch on an enormous rock, got attacked by chipmunks, then headed back down. Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

I'm glad you found our blog and I'm even more glad that you have a blog! I must say your little girl is so adorable, hopefully I can meet her sometime soon. So where exactly are you living? Wade's parents live at the bottom of that canyon as well, actually a few weeks before Aubrey was born we hiked up to silver creek too, we have some pictures that look exactly like yours. In fact we are going to be living with wade's parents while I do my student teaching this fall... so we might be neighbors. We will be living in Highland. We should definitely get together when we move down there.

Yay! Finally you are up and running. Your hike looks awesome and Mya is such a cutie in those pictures! I wish I wasn't so swollen and tired and prego so I could go one hikes like that. Well congrats on officially becoming a blogger- it gets addicting so watch out. lol.
I notice that sign for the lake didn't mention any attack chipmunks. Maybe you can sue or something... I don't know but I would sure check it out with a lawyer. You got nice shots of your adventure. I really like the one of Mya and you Jaime where her head is thrown back a bit. That smile is sooooo cute. Oh and I love your header shot - the black and white one of the three of you.. Hmmm. Maybe I do need to officially start one of these. It might get a bit risque though. I find the quirkiest things interesting. Anyway, now you can have official family on here even if their blog is empty. xxx
I think she will have blonde colour with a touch of red like strawberry blonde cause Matthew did and that her hair will be curly like yours was.
